8 -- Sign up in groups of 3 for topics and locations.
One member of each group must meet in Mr. Jan
9 -- Report to the library for bibliography search. 20 cards due from
each group. Deposit cards in Jan.
10 & 13 -- Report to the library for note taking. 100 cards due from
each group. Deposit cards in Week of Jan. 21 -- Required meeting with advisor. Preliminary Plan Sheet (pdf) due. Jan. 24 -- Work on brochure in class or computer lab. Week
of Jan. 28 -- Required meeting with advisor. Interview expert selected
and interview questions Jan.
31 -- Brochure due (typed copy in correct and final layout form). Deposit
in box provided in Mr. Week
of Feb. 10 -- Required meeting with advisor. PowerPoint Storyboard &
Revised Plan Sheet Feb.
12 -- Final, corrected copy of brochure due (ready for printing and judges).
Deposit in box provided Feb.
18 -- One expert interview due from each group. Turn in questions, transcript,
tape. Deposit items Feb. 21 -- Work on PowerPoint in class or computer lab. See Notes for Using PowerPoint for detailed instructions. Week
of Feb. 24 -- Required meeting with advisor. Scavenger
hunt questions and umbrella topics due Feb. 28 -- Completed PowerPoint presentations due to Ms. Galyon. Mar. 10 -- PowerPoint corrections due to Ms. Galyon. Mar. 30 -- Set up project in library on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Mar.
31 -- Complete set-up and add finishing touches during school day. Prepare
for interviews with Apr.
1 -- Museum in library from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm for viewing by classes.
