Interview
Requirements
1. Choose a person to interview with a strong connection
to your topic.
2. Submit your choice to Mr. White for approval.
3. Submit your interview questions to your advisor before
the interview takes place and in time to make any revisions
suggested by your advisor.
4. Mail, email, FAX, or deliver a copy of your approved
questions to the interview subject well before the interview
takes place.
5. Interviews must be videotaped (30 minutes plus).
6. Secure a signed interview release from your subject.
7. After conducting the interview, watch the tape and prepare
a typed summary including 8 direct quotations.
8. The interview must be used in your project and should
be a focal point.
9. Therefore, the audio and video quality must be good.
10. Label all tapes/DVD’s with the subject name,
date of interview, interviewers’ names, and group
topic.
11. Turn in the videotape/DVD, typed summary, release form,
copy of your interview questions, and a brief bio and/or
description of the subject’s credentials in a large
brown envelope to Mr. White no later than February 7.
12. Send a note of thanks to your subject as well as an
invitation to the museum.
