Teen-to-Teen: In the News

Compare your world with that of the grandparent (relative) you interviewed for your family history project by creating a PowerPoint of events, people, and facts (see list below) from the past and present. The Internet (see Google.com, Ditto.com, FactMonster.com, etc.) will be a major resource for most of this information as will the person you interviewed.

Start with a title slide, and then alternate the slides by the 13 topics between 2005 and the year your grandparent was your age (e.g., 1970). Identify the people/events specifically so that readers years from now will know who they are. Your slide show should have 27 slides total. When you are finished, save the PowerPoint to the Student Directory (H drive) under your last name in the Teacher Dropbox in the Family History Folder (L drive).
