Family Reception
Maryville High School Cafeteria
Monday, October 24, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
1) Food: Remember–this needs to be a home-cooked dish, not a Kroger pie or slice-and-bake cookies. Bring your dessert to the teacher cafeteria no later than 6:30 p.m. so we will have time to put food on the tables before the reception starts. Label your serving dish, and if your dish requires a spoon or spatula, please bring one. Dishes must be taken home at the end of the evening.

2) Clothes: You are the guests of honor and should be “dressed up.” Fellows--dress shirt, dress pants, dress shoes, a sweater or tie would be nice. Girls–Sunday school type of dress, skirt and blouse, or dressy pantsuit with dress shoes. Of course, bring your PMA along with you. Remember– of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important. Be enthusiastic!

3) Guests: Please invite any family members, teachers, friends, community members to share this special event with you. This is your chance to shine! Guests may come and go, of course. They do not have to stay the whole time.

4) Clean-up: If you volunteered for this job, please do not leave until the cafeteria, teacher cafeteria, and Commons Area are restored to order. EVERYONE–take home your dishes, serving utensils, and Family History Projects.
Note: You are expected to be here the entire time unless you have made arrangements with the teachers prior to October 28 (for school related conflicts only).
