The Vertical File
The Card Catalog			The vertical file is a subject file of pamphlet materials, bulletins, reports, clippings from newspapers and magazines, booklets, maps, pictures, etc.  An index to subjects is listed on a rolodex file, and the information is arranged alphabetically by subject.
